There’s a few things you’ll need to know before you get started, like filling out your Health Commitment Statement and stuff. Once this is all completed and confirmed by the Concierge you can quickly and easily book your session.

Just check-in with your scheme host if you have any questions.
We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Terms of use for the Gym

What are the opening hours?
The gym is open 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
Will all of the facilities be re-opened at once?
Not quite – we need to open the gym in two phasesPhase 1: the gym & studio spaces will be available for residents to usePhase 2: classes may resume (following assessment)
I’m not yet a member of the Gym – how do I join?
It’s easy to join – just complete the Health Commitment Statement above.
Do I have to have an induction?
Inductions are optional, but you must complete the Health Commitment Statement before you can use the Gym.
How do I book an induction?
You can book your induction session with our fitness partner Moksha Movements here. Induction sessions cost £40.00 and are carried out by an Moksha Movements qualified personal trainer. I’m not yet a member and haven’t used the Gym before - can I have an induction if I want one? Yes, absolutely. It’s completely up to you – you can book an induction with our fitness partner Moksha Movements who will help you familiarise yourself with the gym equipment and how to train safely.
2.  Booking the gym

Will I need to book to use the Gym?You’ll need to book a workout session as we have to limit the number of people who can use the gym at a time to 5 – in-line with the UK Active guidance framework.
How do I book a workout session?
You can book online here.
How many workout sessions can I book at a time?
At the moment you can book four sessions per week.
How long is a workout session?
Each session is one hour - made up of 45 minutes workout time and 15 minutes for cleaning. So, you should aim to work out for 45 minutes within your one hour booking and allow yourself time to clean your equipment. There’s further info on cleaning within these FAQ’s for you.
How far in advance can I book?
At the moment, we ask you to book one day ahead of your planned workout session, but hope to review this in the near future.
Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking – but please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your booking to another resident.

3. Using the gym:

What belongings can I bring with me?
You can bring a very small bag to carry essentials like your phone / music, apartment keys, and water bottle. Please keep your bag with you at all times and make sure it’s in safe place where it won’t be a trip hazard to yourself or others.
Can I share my equipment?
It’s important that you only use your own selection of equipment and clean this down after use for the next resident to use. Please don’t’ share any equipment at all.
Can I turn-on any of the equipment in the gym that has been designated as ‘out of use’?
Please don’t turn on any equipment that has an out of use sing on it. This means it has been taken out of use and cannot be used as part of the social distancing measures keeping you safe. If you would like to use a piece of equipment that has been taken out of use, let the Concierge team know after your session and they will discuss this with the scheme host for your consideration on rotation for your next visit.
Can I move free weights around the gym floor?
Please only use the free weight equipment within the designated matter areas and follow the signage in the gym. Please don’t move the weights around the gym floor.
Will you be running any classes?
For now, the advice is not to hold classes, however we hope to be able to review this soon.
4. Cleaning & hygiene

How will the Gym be kept clean?
We ask that you clean each piece of equipment before and after use and allow time within workout sessions to do this. Each gym session is for one hour with 45 minutes for your workout and 15 minutes allowed for cleaning within the session. Cleaning wipes are available for cleaning your equipment at the cleaning stations within the gym. Please make sure you use the bins provided for disposing of cleaning wipes and other similar items.
In addition, we have a dedicated cleaning regime in operation throughout Gym opening hours, with additional ‘deep cleans’ taking place outside these hours.
  5. Social distancing

How will you ensure social distancing? It’s vital we continue to follow Government advice on social distancing, and we’ve put the following measures in-place to help everyone stay safe:
The booking system limits the number of people who can use the gym at any one time
If social distancing isn’t followed, we may have to review access to the gym, and we don’t want to be in that position, so please help us by following the guidance.
Can I bring a guest into the Gym?
As we currently must restrict the number of people using the gym, we’re giving priority to residents and therefore guests are not permitted at this time. However, as restrictions ease, we hope to be able to admit guests 6. Fire safetyThe fire doors must always be kept closed.
